American rapper Jalen Taheen Foster, a.k.a. Real Boston Richey, is facing some serious charges for allegedly getting violent with his girlfriend, Tatiana Channell Charles. Richey (28 years old) and Channell Charles (19 years old) have been dating for a span of one to two years. Netizens have pointed out that the age gap seems a little problematic, but the couple has ignored these comments.
In a recent incident that happened on March 30, 2025, a video was circulating around social media showing the Floridian rapper snatching his girlfriend's phone away from her while there were people around. This happened at Saki in Houston, Texas, where the two were attending a party.
Later on, the two arrived at 806 Main St. in separate cars. This is where things turned ugly. According to Hypefresh, Richey pushed Charles into the second row of a car. After he got in, he started choking her for more than two hours. She was choked around 20 times, and each time, it lasted for about 6 to 10 seconds.

Charles revealed that she is currently 8 months pregnant with Richey's baby. During the choking incident, Charles reported that she felt dizzy, vomited, and even lost consciousness. She revealed that Boston Richey threatened her during the attack. He said,
"If you call police, I might as well kill you... You’re not getting off of this car." - Richey states.
There were two individuals sitting in front of the car, and yet they did nothing while Richey was assaulting his girlfriend in the second row of the car. Some netizens have shared that this is not the first time Boston Richey has laid his hands on his girlfriend.
According to the court documents, the American rapper is being charged with Assault Family Violence that includes Impeding Breathing, a felony, which is filed under DA Log Number 3142088. The bail amount is yet to be decided, and Richey has not yet been arrested.
Other issues that were related to Boston Richey and Tatiana Channell Charles included accusations of grooming. The 28-year-old rapper denied these allegations; he also lied about Charles' age, claiming that she was 23, when Tatiana is only 19 now. After the choking incident, Charles is pressing charges.
