The New York Comedy Festival has expanded its already-stacked lineup by 100!
News Pollstar has reported that several new acts, including Matteo Lane and Nick Smith, Maddy Smith, Hannibal Buress, Erica Rhodes, and Chris Gethard, among others, are now expected to perform at the 21st edition of the New York Comedy Festival. It is slated for November 7 to 16, and will be scattered across various venues in New York.
According to Deadline, some of the highlights of the forthcoming New York Comedy Festival shows include RIGHT NOW with John Goblikon, scheduled for November 7 at the Bell House, and Maddy Smith, who will be performing on November 12 at the New York Comedy Club Upper West Side.
“We’re incredibly excited to unveil this year’s expanded lineup, featuring more than 100 shows across all five boroughs of the city,” Caroline Hirsch, founder and owner of the festival, said in a statement. “The level of talent joining us this year is nothing short of phenomenal. Our continued mission is to uplift and celebrate the dynamic New York comedy community—bringing together rising stars and iconic performers in the city’s most storied venues that reflect the incredibly rich diversity and boundless energy of this city.”

The New York Comedy Festival was launched in 2004 and has since become a staple in the world of comedy. It was founded by Hirsch and produced by Carolines and, in recent years, has boasted over 100 performances across 10 days each year.
