The singer held a jersey with the number 9, sparking dating rumours with Nick Bosa, although his jersey number is 97. However, she has clarified that she currently doesn't have time for dating pursuits. She told People,

Is Megan Moroney dating Nick Bosa? Singer denies rumors and reveals other aspirations
Megan Moroney graced People's holiday cover published on November 24. The singer opened up about her songwriting process, dating intentions, and her dream of meeting Taylor Swift. She explained that dating is not at the top of her priority list. The news outlet reported that she had previously been linked with Riley Green in early 2025 and with Morgan Wallen in 2024.
During her July 2024 appearance on the Call Me Daddy podcast, Megan revealed she had never "exclusively dated" Morgan. She was all praise for him and noted,
"I think Morgan is great and his new album [I’m the Problem] is great — he and I are still friends."
She added that she remains "honest" in her songwriting process and can be influenced by how situations make her feel. In her recent interview with People, she reiterated her storytelling process and said,
"I just remember being like, ‘I'm so emotional,’ and it was really hard for me to write happy songs and very easy to write sad songs, so it just happened one day. Then, I was like, ‘I guess this is a thing now.’”
Megan Moroney continues to be inspired by other artists in the industry, notably Taylor Swift. She noted,
"I find it so inspiring that she can put out 12 different albums, and they all sound different."
She added that she hopes to meet her and said,
"The way that she's handled all the business side of things is something that I've learned from, so I'd like to thank her — and maybe get some drinks or something.”
Megan Moroney also expressed excitement about her new album, Cloud 9, set to be released on February 20. She revealed the storytelling process and said,
"It's written from a perspective where my feet are really planted, and I feel really confident with where I'm at in my life and who's around me."
Dating appears not to be on the priority list for Megan Moroney, who is set to release an album in the new year. Being one of the most-nominated artists at the 2025 CMA Awards, Megan clarified that she is "busy" with her professional pursuits.
