In a recent interview with The Guardian, Prince Harry opened up about taking his children back to the United Kingdom in the future. The 41-year-old Prince Harry, a member of the British royal family, recently travelled to Ukraine. During the trip, the Duke of Sussex shared with The Guardian that he would like to take his son Archie (6) and daughter Lilibet (4) back to his native country, England.
While Harry did not mention anything regarding moving permanently with his entire family back to England, he did share that he wishes to bring his kids there sometime in the near future. When he was asked, Prince Harry said:
"Yes I would. This week has definitely brought that closer."
In May 2025, during an interview with the BBC, the Duke of Sussex said:
He couldn't "see a world in which I would be bringing my wife and children back to the U.K. at this point."
He added:
"They’re going to miss, well, everything."
Prince Harry, whose security was downgraded in 2020 following his decision to step back from the duties of the royal family, went ahead and said at the time:
"I love my country. I always have done. Despite what some people in that country have done. I miss the U.K., I miss parts of the U.K., of course I do. I think that it’s really quite sad that I won’t be able to show my children my homeland."
Prince Harry met his father, Prince Charles, after 19 months

Prince Harry, who shares his two kids with former actress Meghan Markle, currently lives in California. During his recent visit to England, he met his father, Prince Charles, after 19 months. The last time Harry met his father was in February 2024.
While he met Prince Charles and had a private tea with him, Harry also visited charities. During his interview with The Guardian, Harry spoke less about his father, but said:
"The focus really has to be on my dad."
He continued and added:
"I have always loved the UK and I always will love the UK. It’s been good to reconnect with the causes I am passionate about. I have been able to spend some time with people that I have known for so long. It is hard to do it from far away."
While Harry and Prince Charles' reunion was a significant moment for both of them, sources close to the Duke of Sussex informed People that his father had earlier been ignoring his calls and messages.
