Netizens may have been excited about the launch of eight new female celebrity artists' emojis on iOS. But we are here to debunk the rumors. You may have seen the tweet posted by Drop Pop (@DropPopNet) on X, where they shared a photo of the eight new supposed emojis of female celebrity artists. Unfortunately, the emojis are fake.

Based on the photo, the eight celebrity artist emojis are Lana Del Rey, Beyonce, Rihanna, and Iggy Azalea on the top, from left to right. The bottom row includes Nicki Minaj, Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, and Ariana Grande. Drop Pop even captioned the post,

"Apple teases new emojis of female artists for the upcoming iOS 18.5 update." - @DropPopNet wrote, including a photo of the Apple logo in the post.

However, Apple did release eight new emojis for iOS 18.4 version and above. Keep reading to know what the emojis are.

What are the new emojis released by Apple?

Apple Hub (@theapplehub) posted some new emojis available for Apple users to X on March 31, 2025. The emojis can be seen by users who have iOS 18.4 version and above. Apple Hub has captioned their post,

"These are the new emoji available today with iOS 18.4 Which one is your favorite?" - @theapplehub asked its followers.

The eight new emojis that have been added recently include a sad and tired-looking emoji with dark circles, a blue fingerprint, a purple paint splat, a shovel, a leafless tree, a harp, a radish or a turnip, and the flag of Sark. Sark is a self-governing island that is located in the English Channel.
