Anansa Sims is firing back at her ex. Matt Barnes, for allegedly spreading lies about her.
The former Golden State Warriors player recently sat down for a podcast where he addressed the model's claims that he got intimate with eight women in one month. The latter took to Instagram in February to accuse him of having affairs of varying lengths, some months-long and some years-long. However, Barnes has since denied these accusations.
During the podcast, he claimed to have lost his family due to being emotionally absent, revealing that while he was the "sole provider" of the family, he wasn't there "emotionally," and he wasn't "empathetic." He also revealed that he hasn't cried in 30 years, saying:
"That was stuff that my ex would tell me, that 'you're a wall'."
The model, who shares two children with the Barnes, took to Instagram to slam him, accusing him of telling only half the story:
"If you're going to talk publicly about our personal business, tell the Whole Story. Don't post half truths about me and our past relationship to gain sympathy from the masses," she penned.

In her statement on Instagram, Anansa Sims said:
"I'm in the trenches doing the hard work making sure all of our kids are ok. You've made no effort to emotionally support all of our children through this traumatic transition you caused, but you're willing to be "vulnerable" for strangers on the gram for profit? Please keep my name out of your mouth. Since I left, I've said nothing about you and you know there's so much I could say about the man you truly were to me. If you don't have respect for yourself or for me, at least have respect for our children who follow you and see your posts."
She went on, noting that his latest comments are distressing for their children, adding that they're trying to heal:
"Your post is triggering for the kids and I, while we're in the midst of healing and rebuilding our lives. We're the ones who reaped all the damage you caused by your constant selfish, toxic choices. You didn't consider our kids in your actions before, please try to consider them now. If you want to do some good, please don't speak about me, go get consistent therapy and most importantly start building a relationship with God," she penned. "Peace & Blessings," Anansa Sims concluded.
Earlier this year, Sims also listed the names of eight women she claimed were involved with her ex-husband in one month. She listed their IG handles, names, and the supposed date of their encounter with Barnes. However, one of the women, Masika Kalysha, has since come forth and denied these claims. Barnes has yet to respond specifically to these allegations.
Anansa Sims and Matt Barnes got engaged in December 2022 after having shared a tumultuous relationship for five years. They have two children together.
