Sean “Diddy” Combs has been seen for the first time since starting his 50-month prison sentence.
The music producer and rapper was captured on camera walking and conversing with other inmates in Fort Dix Federal Correctional Institution in New Jersey. The photos were published on October 31, 2025, by TMZ. He was seen sporting a full gray beard and was dressed in the regular prison attire, a navy blue jacket and an orange beanie.
The rapper was transferred to Fort Dix after spending nearly 13 months in custody at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.
Diddy photographed socializing at Fort Dix
According to pictures obtained by TMZ, the photos from the prison yard show Diddy walking with a few other inmates, suggesting he has begun interacting with them. Reports say these moments are part of the normal recreation time when inmates are allowed to spend time outside to talk or exercise.
Fort Dix has dormitory-style housing and holds over 3,000 inmates. Although it is a low-security prison, strict rules and schedules are still followed. The environment gives inmates more movement and opportunities for work compared to high-security facilities, but daily activities remain controlled and monitored.
Why is Diddy serving a sentence?

Diddy is serving his term because he was found guilty of two counts concerning transportation to engage in prostitution. He was transferred to Fort Dix where he will serve out his last term after his sentencing in Brooklyn.
The transfer was to assist him in availing of the treatment programs and acclimatizing to a more stable schedule. Visits by the family are also permitted at Fort Dix.
