On April 4, X user, My Mixtapez took to their X channel to post that NBA Ben10 had been "allegedly shot in his hometown of Baton Rouge." They added that Ben10's condition was "still unknown." The post gathered immediate attention, with many fans expressing concern for the rapper.
Netizens took to the comment section and noted that this wasn't true. One user (@polodown076) noted that Young Boy's brother Bway had reportedly said that Ben 10 wasn't shot,
"Bway said he ain’t get shot stop spreading lies."
Another user (@richestoppyB) slammed the news and wrote,
"this is fake news , your source is a known troll."
Another user (@truthhurts5ive) took to the comment section and attached a screenshot of rapper, bximpistolp, denying the rumour. He wrote that it was "not true." One netizen (@StonerBeatz_ZA) expressed their concerns about the rising cases of gun violence in the rap community and noted,
"In the rap community bullets are the only thing killing youngins, they nolonger get sick, die of old age etc, death certificate always says cause of death, m*rdered. Who The F**k Normalised this culture?"
Did NBA YoungBoy's friend NBA Ben10 really get shot? Rapper Bway weighs in
While the rumor of NBA Ben10 being shot went viral, it has reportedly been shot down by those associated with the rapper. Instagram user @hip_hop_trap shared rapper Bway's Instagram story. Bway is reportedly YoungBoy's brother. The story uploaded on April 5 alleged that NBA Ben10 wasn't shot. He wrote,
"Stop spreading that fake a** news. My brother [10] ain't get shot."
Another user (@OG_dominique), who is reportedly Ben10's mother, noted that he is "great".
While it appears to be a rumor, YoungBoy and other affiliates are yet to comment about Ben10. In other news, the latter had recently released his new single, On Me, on March 13, 2025.
Rumors that Never Broke Again's Ben 10 had been shot reportedly went viral on social media. However, many fans and people associated with the rapper took to their socials to note that it wasn't true.
No official messages have been shared by the NBA collective or the rapper himself about the alleged shooting. However, this is not the first time the NBA has been allegedly linked to a legal issue or gun violence.
