After the huge success that Lollapalooza Chicago enjoyed, the music festival is back again this year. The roster for the music festival was released back in March, and it includes both renowned and promising artists coming from all parts of the world. The success of last year‘s Lollapalooza and the excitement amongst fans could indicate a large turnout of music fans when the event returns to Chicago this year as well.

Lollapalooza Chicago 2025 will be held in Grant Park, the longtime home of the music festival. The event has always run for four days in the past, and this year is expected to follow the same pattern from July 31 to August 3. The event caters to people of all ages, with kids’ zones set up at the event as well.


Tickets and Lineup

In March, the lineup for Lollapalooza Chicago was released, and fans rushed to get tickets on the official site. You can still buy the one-day tickets from the website, but the others are all sold out. Nonetheless, people planning to attend the festival can use resale ticket platforms such as StubHub, Vivid Seats, Ticketmaster, and SeatGeek as alternative ticket sources.

Since the last lineup was released in June, some additional big names have now been announced for the festival. Examples of these artists are Tyler, The Creator, Sabrina Carpenter, Olivia Rodrigo, A$AP Rocky, and Korn. More than 170 artists are expected to be performing at the event, and most days should see about 40-50 performances.

Tickets come in a wide variety of pricing options: General Admissions (GA), GA+, VIP, and Platinum. According to the official website, the 4-day GA passes should be available from a starting price of $415, whereas the one-day passes start from $189. Children under the age of 8 are also permitted to enter the music festival with a ticketed adult at no extra charge.

Lollapalooza Chicago is set to take place at the scenic Grant Park, which has a total of 9 stages spread throughout the setting. Apart from catering to the music tastes of people from all genres, the organizers have also put in a few extra measures to make the event a memorable one for the fans, with interactive fan zones and art markets available to the fans in attendance.

Over the years, the music festival has become a cornerstone of the Chicago summer calendar and attracts fans from around the world. Apart from this, it also provides a boost to the local economy, with an extensive platter on display at the event. Fans have also become fond of the various interactive features Lollapalooza has to offer such as sponsor lounge parties, recharge stations, and autograph tents.

For those fans who won't be able to attend the event, viewers can catch a glimpse of the event on Hulu, which will stream a few performances from the event for its paying customers.
