BTS' Taehyung, popularly known as V, made history by throwing the ceremonial pitch for the Los Angeles Dodgers team. Adding to the excitement of ARMYs, following the ceremonial match, the Dodgers took home the trophy in their match against the Cincinnati Reds.

As he stepped into the pitch, the BTS singer announced,

“It’s time for Dodgers baseball."

News outlets reported that the crowd erupted after Yoshinobu Yamamoto caught the ceremonial pitch made by V.

The Dodgers social media celebrated the win on their socials, while posting V's photo from the pitch. Fans celebrated the news and dubbed the BTS singer as the "lucky charm". Many took to the comment section to cheer on the global singer and icon. One user (@smol_kia) wrote,

"The Magic 7! V-ery lucky charm indeed."

Another fan shared the singer's (@Taehyungimpact) photo with the cup and wrote,

"Taehyung brings blessing and luck. It’s a fact."

Another chimed in and shared a picture of the singer making a victory sign. They (@thevpost) wrote,

"V for Victory."

A fan (@cha_yoonginuuna) shared the live commentary as the moment was captured. The commentators could be heard describing BTS' Taehyung as a "superstar." One noted,

"69.2 million Instagram followers. You know, most superstars, are known by one name. This guy is so big, he's known by one letter!"

Another commentator said,

"What about the crowd tonight, right? We got the concert crowd tonight. They were there so early because no one wanted to miss that moment right there."

BTS' Taehyung's ceremonial pitch reportedly drew a huge "concert crowd" on Monday night. Following the pitch, the crowd erupted in cheers and was captured in a jersey with the symbolic group number 7. News outlets reported that the singer also met LA Dodgers’ star player Shohei Ohtani, before the match, per HYPE. The duo shook hands and hugged each other before the singer made his way to the baseball pitch.
