xQc has joined the countless netizens who have commented on Hasan Piker’s alleged animal abuse controversy. The streamer recently addressed the issue on his recent stream, alleging that Hasan tampered with the dog collar. xQc claimed that the collar the dog wore when the alleged shocking incident occurred differs from the collar he held to debunk the rumor.
The streamer found images of the same model of the dog collar Kaya was wearing and compared it to the collar Hasan Piker held during his clarification stream.
“No! No! It doesn't blink. It doesn't blink on the reverse. That's it. At least…regardless of what you say, it doesn't matter what you say, that at least shows a level of tempering between one vod to the other. That's irrefutable proof that, regardless of what you're thinking, there are some elements that at least show some degree of tampering from one day to the next.”
He added:
“The collar was either removed or altered because it blinks on the left side on his hand, but on the right side on the dog. Because it was interchanged or moved.”
More details on Hasan Piker’s dog abuse controversy
Popular Twitch streamer Hasan Piker, commonly known as HasanAbi, found himself in a dog abuse controversy following his October 7 livestream, where he allegedly used a shock collar on his dog, Kaya, to keep her from leaving the stream.
The next day, Hasan Piker explained during his stream that Kaya’s collar was harmless and only sends vibrations, not shocks.
“This is the one that people are talking about. This is the one that they saw. It has the capacity to vibrate, and that's it. Are you happy? That's it, Good? There’s the airtag, there’s the f*cking vibrator, it also has a flashlight component to it at night time, and it also has a tracker in it when she gets lost, if she were to actually get f*cking lost. It makes a sound, okay?”
Hasan also demonstrated how the collar works, adding that his dog doesn't always wear a collar.
“There are days when Kaya doesn't wear a collar, there are days when she wears a different collar, okay? This doesn't actually work in the way you think it does, okay? Here, this is the flashlight, and this is when it vibrates.”
