The Life of a Showgirl was released on October 3, 2025, and its release date makes the Bad Blood hitmaker ineligible for consideration for the 2026 Grammy Awards.

The highly anticipated nominations list for the 2026 Grammy Awards was released on Friday, November 7, 2025. The 2026 award ceremony is scheduled for Sunday, February 1, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.

Leading the nominations with nine nods is Kendrick Lamar. Lady Gaga follows closely with seven nominations. Leon Thomas, Bad Bunny, and Sabrina Carpenter received six nominations.
