Ava Max was scheduled to tour across North America, Europe and the UK. The tour would have run from September 3, 2025 to October 25, 2025 and would have in support of her upcoming album, Don't Click Play. However,the singer has now canceled the tour, stating that she needed more time to deliver a show upto her standards:
"Pushing back my tour is most difficult decision I’ve had to make, but when I perform for you, it has to be of a standard that I’m happy with, and it’s just not there yet.Being on stage is my favourite thing in the world."
The singer added:
"In order to put on a show that you all deserve, I need more time. I promise you all it will be worth the wait. I love you all and can’t wait to see you. SOON, I PROMISE."
While the singer has not mentioned any details regarding refunds, vendors such as Ticketmaster usually automatically provide refunds to the account that was used in the purchase within 21 days.
Ava Max set to release her new album in August
Ava Max is set to release her latest studio album, Don't Click Play, on August 22, 2025. The upcoming album, when it is released, will be her third studio album, as well as her first release since 2023's Diamonds & Dancefloors.
The singer talked about her new album in an interview with Audacy that was published on December 2024:
"this new album has like slower songs, some Pop, Rock, Country records that the fans have never heard from me. And a couple of records that I think are the best records I've ever made in my entire life. Which I'm very excited about that for people to hear."
The singer also talked briefly about her future career plans, stating:
"I know the fans are waiting. I just have so many more records that I want to put out at the top the year as well. I’m probably just gonna put out three records. I just want to give them everything, I don't want to hold on to it anymore. I want the album to come out, I want just everything to be there."
Ava Max (birth name Amanda Koçi), started her career as a child, debuting at the age of 10 in Norfolk. The singer adopted the first half of her stage name when she was 14, and then continued her career on Soundcloud in the subsequent years, working closely with the producer Cirkut.
In 2016, she signed with Atlantic Records and adopted her the last name Max as part of her stage identity subsequently. The singer released her debut single Sweet but Psycho in 2018.
Ava Max's debut album, Heaven & Hell, was released on September 18, 2020. The album remains her career's most successful record to date, with multi-platinum certification in Norway and a platinum certification in the US.
The singer subsequently released her second EP, A Sweet but Psycho Halloween, on October 27, 2022. This was followed by her second album, Diamonds & Dancefloors, in 2023.
Aside from her solo career, Ava Max has also collaborated with Tiesto on the track The Motto, which was featured on Tiesto's album Drive. Her song Choose Your Fighter, is part of the Barbie film soundtrack album. Max also collaborated with Kygo on the track Whatever.
