Whitney 2026 international tour: Presale, dates, venues, and more explored

Indie rock duo Whitney is officially heading back on the road in 2026 with a new international tour. The latest announcement comes amid the band's preparations to release their fourth studio album, Small Talk. The record is slated to be released on November 7, 2025, through AWAL.

The upcoming album follows 2023's Spark. Alongside the tour, Whitney also shared their latest single, "Back to the Wind." Its accompanying music video has been directed by Alex Pennacchia. The duo's newly announced tour will run from February through April 2026. It is set to cover Europe, the UK, the US, and Canada.

This is the band's first world tour since 2023. It will serve as the live debut of their Small Talk songs.

Whitney took to their official Instagram page to announce the upcoming trek, captioning:

Whitney is made up of Julien Ehrlich and Max Kakacek. The duo's breakout came with Light Upon the Lake in 2016. Ehrlich spoke about Small Talk's newly released single, Back to the Wind, in a recent statement:

"I think what's stuck with me most about 'Back to the Wind' is the way the imagery ended up unfolding across the instrumental. In the past, we have always insisted that each word on a lyric sheet so deliberately leads you back to the sentiment of the hook that it almost leaves no room for imagination."

He also added:

"With 'BTTW,' it felt more compelling to steer the second half into a series of images that might mean something different to each person that hears it. And, since this was the first song we wrote for the record, I think it informed the way we pushed ourselves to explore and dig deeper lyrically overall. Also, (Max Kakacek's) guitar solo goes crazy."
