"Which one’s rock, and which one’s sock": Post Malone teases new music album, claims there are "35 songs" made

The Sunflower singer, Post Malone, was recently interviewed by Billboard, and the news that Malone revealed has left his fans thrilled and overjoyed.

At the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, Malone revealed that he is working on a new album and had already recorded 35 songs. He did not reveal any other details of the new album. He jokingly said:

''It's just a matter of which one’s rock and which one’s sock.''

His last album was F-1 Trillion, which was released in August 2024 and had some hit tracks like I Had Some Help, and Guy for That.

During the poppi party, which is a standout event at the Coachella 2025 festival, Post Malone revealed some exciting news related to a new album. While unwinding at the party, before debuting as the headliner for the festival, Malone revealed that he was working on a new album, as per Billboard.

He also shared that he's already recorded 35 tracks for the new album. When asked if he'd play any of those tracks during his performance, he laughed and said he wouldn't be previewing any of those tracks.

While Post Malone didn't reveal any details of the new album, he said it explores country music. He then went on to describe how he feels about the warmth the Nashville community offers him, and he also spoke about working with his friends, Ernest, Hardy, and Thomas Rhett. He said:

''We just sit and f-ing talk and make songs. And so I’m pretty excited for the new record already.''

This year at the Coachella festival, Malone debuted as a headliner and performed 19 songs, as per Desert Sun. It marks his comeback after nearly six years. He last performed at the festival in 2018. Speaking of how he feels performing at the festival this year, he said:

''I wasn’t as nervous back then. I’m just old now. Everything hurts.''

At the Coachella festival, Malone performed solo on some songs from his sixth studio album F-1 Trillion, which included tracks like Loser and I Had Some Help, and also sang some of his older hits including 2019 Circles, 2024 Dead at the Honkey Tonk, 2016 I Fall Apart, 2022 Lemon Tree, and 2023 Texas Tea.

Other than the new album that he's working on, Post Malone will also be heading for his largest headline tour, titled The Big Ass Stadium Tour. The tour will begin in April and conclude in September. This tour will support his country album, F-1 Trillion.
