According to the Korea Herald, there's a possibility of him releasing a complete album soon, along with a music video. In a statement, the outlet reported:

"T.O.P’s studio album is scheduled for release sometime in or after October. He has completed recording and plans to shoot several music videos. An art director of ‘Squid Game’ will oversee the production."

This news comes as a huge delight for fans who have been eagerly waiting for T.O.P’s solo music, especially after his fame from Squid Game. Many are excited to see him step back into the music scene since his solo release in 2013.

However, T.O.P has not officially confirmed the news yet.

In an interview with Rolling Stone UK in January 2025, the rapper was asked about whether fans should expect new music from him in the upcoming years. To the question, he replied:

"For years I have spent most of my time, if not all, creating music and as a result of that I have accumulated so much music. And so I can’t tell you exactly when, but I am hoping to be able to share that with the world because I do feel it is my duty to be able to share my music with the fans. And so I am hoping to be able to do that sooner or later. Sooner than later."

While his words gave fans hope for new music, T.O.P did not reveal any specific timeline for when it might be released.

In another interview with Awards Buzz, held in June, he said:

"Because My solo album is dropping soon"

However, once again, he didn’t offer any more details, leaving fans excited but still unsure about the exact release of his solo album.

His last appearance was in Squid Game Season 3, which was released earlier this year. Additionally, he was a part of Squid Game Season 2 as well. Other than that, he has also been part of The Secret Message, Iris, and I Am Your Teacher.

His last movie, according to My Drama List, was released in 2019, titled Out of Control. A year later, he appeared as a guest on the show White Night.

The rapper left BIGBANG in 2023.
