For the first time in over two decades, Tripping Daisy is officially hitting the road. The Dallas-based psychedelic alt-rock band has announced a North American tour, which is set to take place in summer 2025. It will be their first national tour in 26 years. Tripping Daisy, founded in 1990 by DeLaughter, disbanded in 1999 due to Wes Berggren's death, reuniting in 2017.

The reunion of the band has been timed to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their beloved 1995 album I Am an Elastic Firecracker, which featured arguably one of their most recognizable hits, I Got a Girl.

The tour will kick off on June 21, 2025, in their hometown of Dallas, Texas. Eventually, it will span 22 dates across the U.S. and Canada before it wraps up on July 20, 2025, in Charlotte, North Carolina.

According to reports, the band will perform their beloved album, I Am an Elastic Firecracker (1995), in its entirety at each stop, alongside a mix of songs from their other albums. Tripping Daisy took to their official Instagram handle to share the tour announcement, captioning:

"Here we go!! It starts with you DALLAS!"
