Young Thug has released an apology MV to Mariah the Scientist, Drake, and Lil Baby, amidst his ongoing alleged leaked jail call controversy.
The singer released the seven-minute track, titled Man I Miss My Dogs, addressing Drake as Drizzy and Lil Baby as WHAM after his album of the same name.
This MV by Thug has since then gone viral and drawn reactions from the internet, as exemplified by the tweets below:
"Ong this is so embarrassing just stfu."
More netizens reacted similarly, with some criticising Young Thug for not dropping the song earlier, while others were a bit more supportive of him:
"You should have just dropped these songs no tweets no interviews," one netizen stated.
"I just listened to the whole song and man I’m in tears. The tears man! I’ll never get that 7 minutes of my life back. Never!" another netizen stated.
"The ones that stood ten toes, no switching, no faking, no jealousy in their blood. Nowadays everybody calling themselves ‘bro’ but folding the moment pressure hits," one commenter opined.
"The real ones who would’ve gone to war for me ain’t here no more, and I’m stuck looking around at snakes dressed as friends. Crazy how the world keeps the frauds breathing but takes the soldiers early. That’s why I don’t throw the word ‘loyalty’ around loosely-if you were my dog, you were family, and losing that can’t be replaced," the commenter continued.
"This is sounding a step closer to gospel Thug. If we gon switch to gospel music, WHOOPTIE DOO!!" one reactor opined.
More on Young Thug's new track
Young Thug begins his new track with a long apology to Mariah the Scientist, calling her his 'baby' and hoping that he can win her back after his behaviour with her, including cheating. After that, Young Thug addressed Drake (Drizzy), telling him how he missed him, and singing about how Drake came to visit him in jail. This was followed by his address to Lil Baby, where he sang:
"WHAM pick up the phone, yeah talk to me it’s Spider/ Taught you everything you know about this sh*t we for lifers/God told you in the bible the devil will knife you/Rats already winning won't let this sh*t divide us."
Towards the end of the track, Young Thug addresses 21 Savage, as well as singing how he is not a 'rat'. The track post on X has more than 2 million views.
