Ozzy Osbourne took his final bow on stage and did it in a winged chair. The heavy metal and rock legend performed for a crowd of 42,000+ people at the Birmingham Stadium on July 5, 2025, accompanied by the other members of Black Sabbath. The historic event marked the first reunion of the original Black Sabbath members in 20 years.
Other rock idols of rock music include Metallica, Guns N' Roses, Tool, and Slayer. Gojira, Pantera, Anthrax, and Alice In Chains also hit the stage to pay homage to Ozzy Osbourne with sets featuring covers from the latter and his group. They also performed some of their greatest hits for the hyped crowd.
Supergroups consisting of Steven Tyler of Aerosmith, Ronnie Wood, Billy Corgan, Sammy Hagar, Travis Barker, Jonathan Davis, Andrew Watt, Yungblud, Korn’s Nuno Bettencourt, Vernon Reid, Chad Smith, and others also commemorated Ozzy Osbourne’s last performance with song covers—Ultimate Sin, Believer, Changes, and Shot in the Dark.
