BTS’s Jin served a lot of content to the Army after his discharge from compulsory military service on June 12, 2024. A few months after his successful completion of mandatory service, the oldest member of the popular boy band released his first solo album, Happy, on November 15, 2024.
He also started his reality show titled RUN Jin on August 13, 2024. The show is a spinoff of BTS's popular web series, RUN BTS. In the April 15 episode of the show, Jin revealed that the series would be coming to an end after two more episodes and also revealed his intention to have a fan concert for the last episode of RUN Jin.
In a translated clip shared by @btschartsdailyc on X, formerly Twitter, the oldest member of the group said:
“But since we have to do the last show for RUN Jin, since we have to film the show, I thought a lot about what to do. And I was thinking that for the last show of RUN Jin we could do a concert with the fans. What do you think? Would you be able to set that up?” Jin asked his planning team, who responded with, “That's a great idea; I'll talk to the concert team about it.”
The post quickly garnered several reactions from netizens as fans took to the comments section to express their excitement about the news.

More details on RUN Jin
RUN Jin aired its first episode on August 13, 2024. The series follows BTS's Jin as he partakes in different games, missions, and challenges, where he either wins prizes or receives punishments. Just like RUN BTS, the series it spun off of, the show often has a comedic undertone, especially when Jin is undertaking different activities.
RUN Jin has featured several guests, including TXT’s Yeonjun, retired MMA fighter Kim Dong-hyung, and YouTuber Kwak Joon-bin. New episodes are released weekly on BTS's official YouTube channel.
However, as announced during its most recent episode, the show will end after two more episodes. Fans are hoping to see more RUN BTS episodes after all seven members are discharged.
