Cardi B is open to expanding her family.

The Am I the Drama? artist, 32, sat down for an interview with Jennifer Hudson on her show, the episode of which debuts next week. In a sneak peak shared online, Cardi B can be seen talking about the unexpected reason she's welcome to the idea of more kids:

"It's like the more kids you have, the less of a possibility you go to a home," she says. "One of them is going to wipe my butt."

The rapper shares three kids with her estranged ex-husband, Offset: daughters Blossom Belle, 12 months, and Kulture Kiari, 7, and a son, Wave Set, 4.

In the preview, Cardi B also opened up about what trait each of her children gets from her:

"My son, he's like funny like me, and he [does] a lot of faces that I do, ... and then he's a little bad," she says. "And then my daughter, she's very girly like me. Like, she's very ... she got a little sass. But she's she's a good girl."

As for her youngest daughter, the rapper told host Hudson, 43, that she has yet to understand her personality:

"I'm still learning the baby. I'm still learning her," she says. "We still trying to figure her out."

During a recent conversation with Billboard, as part of her cover issue, Cardi B discussed her new romance with Stefon Diggs and how she has been staying afloat amid her messy divorce. For the unversed, the rapper has been locked in a legal battle with Offset since they split up last year.

“It turned me into a real woman. I was like, ‘What makes a woman? Her body? Her cooking?’ It’s her maturity and her thinking. If I didn’t have kids, I wouldn’t sacrifice so much,” she explained. She also said that she didn't even have time to “even put my feet in a pool” this summer and that she does “everything for my kids.” She also then revealed that she’s the “only provider” for them.

She then credited her own mother for setting a good example:

“If you think when you get rich you’re going to stop working, you’re never going to stop working. My mom used to be a freakin’ cashier and she used to work every single day,” Cardi B explained. “To this day, I still talk about how hard my mom worked. I had a very rough childhood, but my mom always made sure we ain’t go to no shelter.” "I want my kids to be like, 'My mom made sure I had everything that I wanted,'" she added.

Cardi B and Offset tied the knot in 2017, though they parted ways just three years later. They eventually reconciled until the former filed for divorce in July 2024.
