Whitelands 2026 EU/UK tour: Ticket info, dates, venues, and more explored

London-based shoegaze outfit Whitelands have officially announced EU and UK tour dates for early 2026. The upcoming shows are set to supplement the release of their second album, Sunlight Echoes, scheduled for January 30, 2026, via Sonic Cathedral.

The newly announced tour will see Whitelands performing across multiple cities in the UK and Europe, including stops in Paris, The Hague, Birmingham, Leeds, Glasgow, and Manchester.

Whitelands was initially started as a solo project by Etienne Quartey-Papafio. It eventually became a full-band setup featuring Vanessa Govinden, Jagun Adebayo, and Michael Adelaja. The band gained attention with their debut record, Night-bound Eyes Are Blind to the Day, which was released in 2024.

Whitelands took to their official Instagram post to announce the upcoming 2026 EU and UK run, captioning:

"So pleased to announce that we will be back on the road this February for our own EU/UK tour on sale from 7th November 11 am! It will be a pleasure to see you all again with some incredible new songs in our arsenal!"

Whitelands' upcoming album, Sunlight Echoes, features ten tracks. It opens with Heat of the Summer. Frontman Etienne Quartey-Papafio recently spoke about the song:

"It’s about a community of people coming together to overthrow a tyrant, whether it be a city, a town, or a nation. I was very upset about Trump when I started writing it last summer, then the take-down of that CEO by Luigi Mangione was my encouragement to finish it. The Spike Lee movie Do The Right Thing gave me inspiration, too, heat representing rising tensions."
