The Spice Girls, a girl band iconic in the world of music, have been subjects of rumors about their comeback for several years. Fans across the globe are anxious to see their favorite band back on stage.
So, when was the last time that they performed together? Also, is a reunion plan on the table? Let us explore in detail.
The last time the Spice Girls performed together
The last official performance of the Spice Girls as a group took place during the closing ceremony of the 2012 London Olympics.
The event marked several incredible performances as Geri Horner (the former Halliwell), Victoria Beckham, Melanie Brown (Mel B), Melanie Chisholm (Mel C), and Emma Bunton took to the stage to play their popular songs Wannabe and Spice Up Your Life.

Since then, the group continued to reunite, but not all of them came together. In 2019, four of the members—Geri, Mel B, Mel C, and Emma—went on the Spice World UK and Ireland stadium tour. However, Victoria Beckham, also known as “Posh Spice,” decided not to join them, focusing on her fashion brand and other business ventures.
In April 2024, all five members gathered at Victoria Beckham’s 50th birthday party in London. A video that went viral from the occasion showcased them singing their impromptu version of the 1998 hit Stop, making fans hopeful for a possible reunion.

Geri Horner’s wishing for a future reunion
In an interview with the Sunday Times newspaper, Geri Horner expressed her hopes for a possible reunion,
"My hope is we come back together as a collective. It's more respectful to come as one.”
Melanie C has also voiced her desire to mark the Spice Girls’ 30th anniversary in 2026 with an extraordinary event, perhaps another world tour.
"It’s 30 years next year since the release of Wannabe. We have to do something special. Obviously I can’t say too much but we are talking about things. Hopefully a nice little world tour!" - She said on The Jimmy & Nath Show with Emma on Australia's 2Day FM.

Will the Spice Girls perform together again?
Despite the enthusiasm from several group members, a larger-scale comeback remains uncertain. Victoria Beckham has acknowledged multiple times that she is content with her current career and has no intentions of returning to the stage. However, Mel B suggested that she continues to encourage her.

Although the fans are anxiously awaiting the 30th anniversary of their breakthrough album in 2026, the pop stars are sure to show up again, despite the absence of official tours so far. While there are currently no rumors of a tour, it is no secret that the fans who support this band are still toying with the idea of a one-time celebration performance.
