Charli XCX is making strides in the music industry.

The pop star achieved a new feat this week with Von Dutch, which is now her 12th song to garner 200 million streams on Spotify. The English singer, whose real name is Charlotte Aitchison, released the track just last year, serving as the lead single of her sixth studio album, Brat.

It came out through Atlantic Records and was written by the songstress alongside its producer, Finn Keane. Von Dutch earned a Grammy nomination for Best Dance Pop Recording, while its remix earned the same for Best Remixed Recording. Notably, the track was also used as the official theme song for this year's WWY Royal Rumble wrestling event.

The 32-year-old singer also made headlines this week when she performed a high-energy set at the Coachella festival this weekend, and according to The Hollywood Reporter, her set was one of the most well-attended of the whole weekend.

According to Variety, she brought her Brat tour to her performance on April 12, alongside several of the guests featured on the album of the same name: From Billie Eilish and Lorde to Troye Sivan.

Days ahead of the festival, the singer-songwriter-producer took to the billboards en route to Coachella to tease fans with her upcoming performance. It featured the vibrant shade of green used on the Brat album cover, but the word was crossed out. Eilish joined in on the fun when she, too, took to Instagram to post the same green shade with no context.

As for her performance, she delivered the live renditions of 2017's Unlock It, and 2019’s Blame It on Your Love, and finished her set with I Love It. However, just as the show was seemingly over, words began rolling on-screen slowly in her familiar writing style. With Charli XCX standing in the middle and basking in her fans' applause, the text read:

“Does this mean that Brat summer is finally over?” the words asked. “Idk? Maybe? Wait was it? No?? Yeah cuz duh it was already over like last year. Wait. Was it? NO??? I don’t know who I am if it’s over???” F–KKKKKKKK…. Wait… I remembered…I’m Charli XCX… and honestly… I just want this moment to last forever… PLEASE DON’T LET IT BE OVER.”

The lights then cut out and with that, the show was over. Rest assured, however, as Charli XCX will be back at the same time, same place, next Saturday, for Coachella week 2.
