Kelly Osbourne and Slipknot's Sid Wilson are officially engaged.

The now-viral proposal took place backstage at Back to the Beginning, Black Sabbath's final show at Villa Park in Birmingham on July 5, 2025. The concert was billed as a farewell for Kelly's father, heavy metal icon Ozzy Osbourne, and the beloved band he helped found.

Interestingly, while fans came to celebrate the end of an era in metal music, they were treated to the start of a new chapter in the Osbourne family.

Sid Wilson, the masked turntablist of Slipknot, proposed to Kelly Osbourne backstage in front of friends and family, including Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne and Kelly's brother, Jack. The proposal was shared by Kelly on Instagram. The moment was quick to draw attention from fans and enthusiasts worldwide.

The proposal began with Sid Wilson turning to Kelly and saying,

"Kelly, you know I love you more than anything in the world."

Before he could go any further, Ozzy Osbourne interrupted with a hilarious comment:

"F**k off, you are not marrying my daughter."

However, Sid Wilson carried on:

"Nothing would make me happier than to spend the rest of my life with you. So, in front of your family and all of our friends: Kelly, will you marry me?"

Kelly nodded yes and embraced Sid Wilson. People around them cheered and applauded. Later, she posted the clip on Instagram.
