DJ Akademiks is weighing in on what seems to be a simmering beef between Drake and Kai Cenat.

After the Twitch streamer slammed Drake's newest project, Iceman Episode 3, the rapper took to Instagram to share a string of photos from his recent trip to Paris. Among them, however, was a zoomed-in photo of what is undeniably Kai Cenat's forehead.

"I think he was just trying to clown Kyle a little but, but yeah, Kai's also criticizing him. I don't think it means that he's in his feelings. That's what I believe. I think Drake's got that little sense of humor, that's him thinking he's clowning you."

As for the theory that Kai Cenat "switched sides" and his now siding with LeBron, who is famously feuding with Drake, he said:

"I can't speak for Drake, but I hope it's not that. I really think it's just harmless joking. But it would be stupid for Drake to have any type of beef with Kai," he said. "Kai's audience aren't necessarily fans of music, they're fans of Kai's personal curation and taste, which means if Kai likes you, they like you."

He also claimed that Drake was the one to get Kai's attention, and not the other way around.

For context, after the third installment of Drake's livestream series came out, Kai Cenat shared a scathing review during one of his ongoing Mafiathon 2 livestreams:

“I can’t fake it,” he said. “That was so a**. Biggest waste of my f*cking time… I can’t fake it that was a**.”

Not long after, Drake shot back with the photo, and when Kai Cenat caught wind of it, he took to his livestream once again to question the rapper's motives:

“Why would he post this?” he questioned. “Drake,” he yelled. “Why would this n***a post my shit? Where’d you get this from?”

Notably, Kai wasn't the only one to clown the Toronto rapper's latest project. Rick Ross also weighed in, per Complex:

“Damn, Champagne Papi,” said Ross in a short video. “They say them songs that you just streamed off your new project Whiteman, they say that shit ain’t dope. The comments crazy.” He then referenced Cenat's comments about the stream: “He kept it real,” said Ross. “Kai said that sh*t was a**. Ha.”

As of this writing, Drake has yet to acknowledge Cenat's latest comments.
