Madonna's Labubu-inspired birthday cake has fans in a frenzy.

Born Madonna Louise Veronica Ciccone, the American singer celebrated her 67th birthday on Saturday, August 16. A photo of the iconic songstress's cake has since been going viral, complete with a one-tier pink cake and a Labubu doll nestled over it. "Happy Birthday, Madudu," the cake read.

Here's how one fan reacted to a picture of the cake on X:

"that cake looks straight out of a horror movie."

The comments didn't end there:

"she’s like one of those grandparents who try too hard to be into current trends so she can appear cool," one naysayer spewed.
"She’s amazing then, amazing now, amazing forever, and people seething about her is nothing new, just a sign that she’s always ahead," another fan remarked.
"who told her this would’ve been funny," someone else quipped.
"Labubu-inspired? That's one way to celebrate, I guess," a fourth user remarked.

See how the rest of X is reacting:

"this is the sweetest and funniest birthday cake ever," one user noted.
"Her need to stay relevant must cost her so much peace," someone else opined.
"love this diva but I’m sorry the cake is terrifying with ominous energy," another user noted.
"This sentence was never meant to be said," yet another chimed in.

Users were visibly divided over the cake, with many remarking that it looked too horrific to be a birthday cake.

Here's everything Madonna has been up to lately:

As reported by several outlets, in honor of her 67th birthday, Madonna celebrated with a trip to Italy, where she attended a traditional horse race known as Palio di Siena. Her children, Rocco, Lourdes, and twins Stella and Estere were also by her side as she watched from a balcony in Piazza del Campo.

According to the Daily Mail, the event, held twice a year, is known as 'the world's most insane horse race.' She was seen seemingly "cherishing" the race that has virtually "no rules."

The songstress announced just last month that she would be dropping a sequel to her famed 2005 album Confessions On A Dance Floor. She took to Instagram to offer her fans a sneak peek into her session at a recording studio in London, with her producer, Stuart Price, also in attendance.

'My Valentine's Day gift to all my fans is to let you know I'm putting my heart and soul into my new music and I can't wait to share it with you!' she wrote.

The album will be Madonna's first since 2019, when she released Madame X. As of this writing, however, it remains unclear when she plans on debuting this album, how many tracks it includes, and if it features any other collaborators.
