Lana Del Rey has revealed the official cover art of her new single Bluebird which will be coming out this Friday.

Elizabeth Woolridge Grant, professionally known as Lana Del Rey, released the new album art for her song Bluebird, which will be coming out this Friday (April 18, 2025). The artwork reveals a side profile image of the singer in a white dress with the title in a simple sans serif font matching the red of her lips.

The announcement of the new song had come as a silver lining to potential bad news as the singer revealed that her album would not be on time. Lana Del Rey took to Instagram on April 11 to reveal that her album will yet again be delayed. This does not come as much of a surprise as the singer, who played at Coachella last year, has had all three of her last albums, Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd, Chemtrails Over the Country Club and Blue Banisters, postponed for various reasons. Not only that, she also announced that she has changed the original title of the album which was going to be The Right Person Will Stay and would have originally been released on May 21.

On her announcement she teasingly stated:

"You know it’s not going to come on time, right? Should I even tell you that the name changed again? Should I tell you that now, while you’re so happy that you even have a song? Yeah, maybe I’ll wait."

Fans react to Lana Del Rey's new cover art

Lana's fans had quite a critical reaction to the Bluebird cover art as they quickly realised that it was just a different iteration of the cover of her earlier released single "Henry, come on," which came out on April 11. The cover of the twangy country song was just a close-up version of the Bluebird cover, and a more cursive font was used for the title. The lack of creativity by Lana Del Rey was pointed out by fans quite quickly.

"she needs to hire an art director asap"- one fan said.
Another hilariously commented,- "Me when i take a good selfie and use it for everything."
This user joined the bandwagon,- "That one photo my bestie took of me that I use for LinkedIn, Instagram, and all my dating apps…"
While one netizen pointed out,- "She literally changed the font and did a different pose."

There hasn't been any officially announcement of the postponed date or the new title.
