“Define stuns” — Fans hoot as Katy Perry stuns in dazzling new photo

Katy Perry causes an uproar after dropping new photos and a dazzling new look.

Katy Perry dropped jaws in her new Instagram post featuring the singer dressed in a blue rosette Coperni dress, called Asymmetric Flower Gown, white studded heels, silver bauble earrings, and an intricate updo. The alien-esque vibe of the look seems to be a nod to her recent trip to space with Blue Origin.

Katy, along with Amazon's Jeff Bezos's fiancée Lauren Sanchez, CBS host Gayle King, former NASA rocket scientist Aisha Bowe, scientist Amanda Nguyen, and film producer Kerianne Flynn, recently took an 11-minute trip outside the Earth's atmosphere aboard Blue Origin’s New Shepard rocket. The star took the phrase "going global" to the next level.

However, since then, the trip, which was advertised as a 'step forward for women,' being the first all-women crew to go to space in more than 60 years, has received major backlash for being unsustainable and unethical. Katy, for the most part, has received the brunt of this internet backlash.

Along with a major face card, the pop star posted different photos of the look that is reminiscent of her song ET (extra-terrestrial), as well as the set list for her upcoming tour with the caption,

"Next stop: THE LIFETIMES TOUR! See you in a week"

The set list was, in fact, first revealed in the suborbital flight when the singer held up a butterfly-shaped card in front of a camera along with the titles of her songs. According to the set list, the singer will be playing some of her biggest hits, including Roar, Rise, Wide Awake, Last Friday Night, Firework, and many more.

Katy's fans, called KatyCats, expressed their awe for her new images, while some X users also mentioned the starlet's latest space adventures.

"I’ve loved Katy Perry since 2010. This is my high school sweetheart. Katy will always have a soft spot in my heart, that’s my space girl"- one fan said.

"Katy Perry they can never make me hate you"- another states.

One referred to her Blue Origin trip,- "She looks like she just got back from outer space"

While another gave a sort of backhanded compliment,- "all her songs and behavior aside the face card does serve"

Katy's "THE LIFETIMES TOUR" will be taking off from Mexico on 23rd April and going global, across major cities in the United States, Australia, Canada, South America, the United Kingdom, and Europe.
