BTS' Jungkook once again made headlines for his documentary I AM STILL. As reported by the 2024 Hallyu White Paper and the Korean Foundation for International Cultural Exchange, the idol’s performance documentary ranked #2 among Korean films in overseas export earnings. The movie recorded the sales of over $9.98 million.

With the latest milestone, BTS' Jungkook’s I AM STILL became one of the most successful documentary films ever. Besides, it also achieved the distinction of being the #1 documentary film for a Korean solo act.

This data went viral online, and several fans claimed that the $9.98 million figure for JK’s movie was only partial data, as key markets like Taiwan, Indonesia, the Philippines, and India weren’t counted in it. Therefore, the actual revenue is estimated to be something around $12 million.Fans of BTS' Jungkook still celebrated the second rank earned by his movie. Consequently, his fans flooded the internet with their praises for Jungkook. One user on X commented:

Several fans also expressed their displeasure with BTS’ Jungkook’s company for lack of promotional efforts for the idol and his documentary, I AM STILL. Another fan dubbed him as the most impactful soloist in Korea and worldwide.

“Any other company would be proud to share this information about their artist’s worldwide success, yet BigHit didn’t report nor promoted Jungkook and his documentary,” stated an admirer.

Jeon Jungkook’s documentary highlighted his life behind cameras while working on his solo album GOLDEN and other uncovered interview material. The documentary was released worldwide on September 18, 2024. The I AM STILL official site stated about the movie in the following manner:
