Are A$AP Rocky and Rihanna secretly married? Rapper drops a hint

A$AP Rocky, who recently sat down for an interview with Elle Magazine, opened about fatherhood and shed some light on his relationship with Rihanna. It is not known for sure if the couple have aldready secretly married, but the rapper did give a cheeky response when asked about what he was particularly looking forward to in his life as a husband. He added:

"How you know I’m not already a husband? I’m still not gonna confirm it."

Rihanna and A$AP Rocky were first linked in late 2019, after which they confirmed their relationship in 2020. This came after the "Umbrella" singer's breakup from businessman Hassan Jameel, whom she had been dating since 2017. The new couple later confirmed the rumors that they were indeed dating, and went on to welcome their first child in 2022 and their second in 2023.

In his interview with Elle Magazine, published on September 23, A$AP Rocky opened up about how he now finds solace in raising his children. He said:

"There’s no longevity in that. What’s really fly is raising a family, bro, and loving them. Being there.”

A$AP Rocky also spoke about his relationship with Rihanna, adding that the couple do not talk about work when enjoying time with their family. He said:

"We don’t talk too much about work, because we deal with that all day, every day. When you come home, it’s about family. It’s about your relationship. It’s about your household. It ain’t about all that other shit.”

This is not first time the couple have reffered to each other as "wife" and "husband." In a 2024 interview with Entertainment Online, Rihanna explained how she enjoyed what she called "wifehood." She said:

"Motherhood, wifehood-ish, just being a homebody—I love it. love to be a homemaker. I just like to be exciting and celebrate things. I’m trying to build new traditions for our little family that we built."

Earlier this week, during his interview with GQ, A$AP Rocky revealed how he and Rihanna had decided to name their third child, Denzel, irrespective of their gender. In his interview with Elle Magazine, he emphasized how much both he and the "Diamonds" singer were hoping for a girl this time. He said:

“I hope it’s a girl. I really do. We’re praying for a girl. Our first time, we wanted to know the sex of the baby. The second time, we didn’t want to know. Third time, we don’t want to know until, you know. I feel like it’s going to be a girl. This pregnancy is so different from the other two. You can tell from the experience. I hope it’s a baby girl, man. I need that.”

According to US Weekly, back in March, A$AP Rocky had referred to Rihanna as his wife during an interview with Mystery Fashionist, listing her among the people most important to him, and saying "that’s my wife, that’s my everything."
