King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard have officially announced their 27th studio album, Phantom Island. The official announcement features a tracklist, album artwork, and an April 15, 2025, drop date.
The official music video of Deadstick, the second track on the album, will also be released on April 15, 2025, reports suggest. Physical pre-orders will also go live the same day via the band's own (p)doom Records.
Phantom Island is orchestral. It is fully backed by an orchestra, Billboard reports. The project has been in the works for two years and comes as a companion of sorts to 2024's Flight b741.
