Fans eagerly awaited the reveal of the top song, and Apple Music didn't disappoint, officially announcing Ed Sheeran’s Shape of You as the most-streamed song on their platform.
The Weeknd’s Blinding Lights ranks second, followed by Drake’s God’s Plan in third place. Drake takes home the trophy for the artist with the most entries on the list, boasting 27 songs. Post Malone occupies the fourth and fifth spots with his hit songs Sunflower from Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and Rockstar. Additionally, Drake appears in the top ten once again with One Dance, which occupies the sixth position.
Travis Scott’s Sicko Mode comes in at number seven, Ed Sheeran’s Perfect at number eight, Chris Brown’s No Guidance at number nine, and Bad Guy by Billie Eilish taking the number ten spot. Mariah Carey’s All I Want for Christmas Is You is the only Holiday anthem to make the list, coming in at number 100.
The highest-ranking country song on the list is Old Town Road by Lil Nas X, which ranks number 60. Taylor Swift is the female artist with the most entries on the list, having fourteen songs in total, with Cruel Summer ranking the highest in the chart at 57.
