La Dispute 2025 tour: Presale code, dates, venues, and more explored

Post-hardcore group La Dispute has officially announced a new album and a North American tour after a six-year break.

The band will release No One Was Driving the Car through Epitaph Records on September 5, 2025. The announcement comes with a 14-date tour across the U.S. and Canada. The newly announced trek is set to kick off the same day as the album's release.

La Dispute has dropped three new tracks from the upcoming album: I Shaved My Head, Man with Hands and Ankles Bound, and Autofiction Detail.

Presale for the 2025 tour is now live. General sale opened on Friday, May 16. Fans can access presale tickets using the code IAMNOONE via the official website of La Dispute. VIP packages and limited merch bundles are also available via the band's official Linktree page.

La Dispute shared the tour announcement via their official Instagram page, captioning:

"Pre sale now live. Comment if you need the pre sale code. More touring to follow in 2026. 🌸"

In a press statement, Jordan Dreyer spoke about their upcoming album, mentioning:

"It begins with a man examining his own slow dissociation from himself while shaving his head alone in a bathroom at night, then shifts through a neighbor’s open window to a conversation about control and desire, framed via the image of a man seen through it: bound on the floor with a woman standing before him, presumably a sex worker."

It continues:

"When the woman exits the building (her companion still tied up), the narrator leaves his own, following less her than the idea represented by her inside his own struggle to reconnect to desires for life severed by time, self, and circumstance, or perhaps fleeing the implication he draws from the man left behind (his helplessness, maybe, or else his confidence to pursue something complicated where the narrator has so consistently failed)."

He concluded, saying:

"The third song follows him on that destination-less late night walk, among the street people and their disasters, ending where he had the whole night subconsciously always headed: the hospital where his partner works, at which point an internal reckoning occurs."
