Kanye West is yet again making headlines on social media. The Slow Jamz singer dropped a tweet on April 15, 2025, on X (formerly Twitter). In the tweet, Ye admits he was wrong back when he commented on Jay-Z and Beyoncé's kids.

This happened in March 2025, and later, Kanye apologized to Jay-Z for his comment on his twins.

However, in a recent tweet, while Ye admits that the comment he made was wrong, he also points out how outrageous it was that he actually posted it—and then goes on to compare it using a metaphor: “Drake was hiding his child.”

In recent events, Kanye took to X and name-dropped Jay-Z, Beyoncé, and Drake. He said:

The Jay and Beyoncé retarded kids tweet was not funny
It was just funny that I actually tweeted it
Isn’t kind of like when Drake was hiding his child 🤷🏿‍♂️
You know when you tweet shit and immediately look for more guns …

Here it looks like Kanye admits that the tweet (now deleted) he made back in March 2025 about Jay and Beyoncé’s kids was not funny. For context, Kanye called the twins, Rumi and Sir, “retarded.” He wrote:

"WAIT HAS ANYONE EVER SEEN JAY Z AND BEYONCES YOUNGER KIDS(?). THEYRE RETARDED NO LIKE LITERALLY AND THIS IS WHY ARTIFICIAL INSEMNATION IS SUCH A BLESSING HAVING RETARDED CHILDREN IS A CHOICE.''

Later, on April 11, 2025, Kanye apologized, expressing how he felt distant and abandoned by Jay-Z. In the tweet, he wrote:

''I’m sorry Jay Z. I be feeling bad about my tweet but I still feel I gave my life to this industry and thought so many people were my family but when I needed family on some real sh-t none of these rap n—s had my back.''

Kanye West, in his recent tweet, admits that the comment was not funny, but what was wild was that he actually posted something like that online. He then compares it to Drake hiding his child, implying the shock factor behind both actions. He concludes the tweet by saying that once you post something like that, all you can do is brace for backlash.

Following that comment, Kanye West faced criticism from fans and followers online. Reports also suggested that Jay-Z and Beyoncé would be taking legal action.

According to In Touch, a source said that Kim Kardashian—Kanye's ex-wife—and Beyoncé have been communicating. They are apparently trying to reach out to people in Kanye’s circle, hoping they would encourage him to seek treatment.

This comes after Kim expressed that she felt terrible about Kanye West’s comments and also mentioned that Ye had crossed the line. As of yet, there has been no response from Jay-Z or Beyoncé to the tweet Kanye made.
