"I recorded it yesterday": Kanye West confirms recording new music and drops it on X 

Rapper Kanye West has made headlines for many things in the past year, but music. In a conversation with Laboy at the 2025 Grammy Awards after-party, the singer revealed he plans to release his newest LP, Bully, on his daughter, North's birthday on June 15, 2025. The rapper also confirmed using AI in producing the album.

While Ye's fans may have to wait a few more months until Bully releases, he dropped a surprise recording on X. He (@kanyewest) added the 1 minute and 17 seconds audio clip and noted,

"Couldn’t go to sleep without letting yall hear this. What should I call it?"

When fans wondered if it was a new music recording, he posted another tweet and confirmed that it was his "voice"

Fans took to the post's comment section after the rapper asked what he should "name" the track. Some fans expressed excitement for the new drop and reiterated the lyrics. One user (@CinnaBands) wrote,

Another user (@tmybdmn) chimed in with the lyrics,
