Justin Bieber’s team has strongly denied the rumors that he has been struggling financially. The reports alleged that the 31-year-old singer has been overburdened with debt, which stems from the cancellation of his tours, lavish spending, and real estate investments.
Bieber’s team has branded the claims as 'clickbait stupidity based on unnamed and clearly ill-informed 'sources,’ as per their statement in US Weekly. The statement added that such claims come from people who are “disappointed that they no longer work with Justin.”
“As Justin forges his own way forward, these unnecessary stories and inaccurate assumptions will continue. But they won't deter him from staying committed to following the right path.”

The statement continued:
“Any source that is trying to sell you a story about alleged financial distress ... either doesn't understand the entertainment industry or, more likely, is trying to paint an unflattering portrait of Justin, which bears no resemblance to reality.”
So, what did the report claim while alleging Justin Bieber’s financial distress? Let us have a look.
What did the report claim about Justin Bieber’s financial troubles?
A report published in The Hollywood Reporter on April 16, 2025, claimed that Justin Bieber is in millions of dollars in debt following the cancellation of the Justice World Tour in 2022.
It stated that the tour’s
“cancellation also triggered a series of financial consequences plaguing the artist today. In not fulfilling his contractual obligation to AEG (the tour’s promoter), for which he received a $40 million advance, he was left owing a large debt to AEG ( which was approximately $20 million, according to their insiders).”

According to the report in The Hollywood Reporter, he cancelled the remaining dates of his Justice World Tour due to health issues related to his diagnosis of Ramsay Hunt syndrome. This rare neurological disorder causes partial facial paralysis.
After performing for several concert dates, he announced in September 2022 that he was exhausted and needed to prioritize his health. The official cancellation came in 2023, as refunds were issued to the ticket holders for the canceled shows across the US, Europe, Australia, and other locations, reported the BBC.
The report in The Hollywood Reporter also mentioned that one of Bieber’s former collaborator Poo Bear said:
“Whatever he’s going through, I pray for him and hope he’s OK.”
Another ex-team member said:
“Seeing him disintegrate like this … it’s watching the embodiment of someone not living their purpose. He’s lost. There’s no one protecting him because there’s no one there willing to say no to him. You say no, you get blown out.”
Sources claimed that the singer has been currently active through private jam sessions at home, though no new album or full tour is expected soon.
Previously, several reports stated that the Baby hitmaker is in the process of launching a new clothing brand called SKYLRK. He shared the news on his Instagram account, where he dropped a photo featuring a colorful assortment of sweatshirt sleeves with the brand’s logo.
