Dreamville Festival 2025 was held from April 5, 2025 to April 6, 2025, at the Dorothea Dix Park in Raleigh, North Carolina. The 2025 edition was the final edition of the festival under its current name. Thus, while there will be a festival running in the venue in Raleigh, the Dreamville Festival itself has been concluded with a grand finale.

This situation was explained during a press conference by Sascha Stone Guttfreund, Dreamville and Live Nation festival producer, on April 3, 2025:

"We’re going to be here for years to come. This is a multi-year deal, and we’re so excited to be working with the city of Raleigh together on something new and exciting, and to continue to build on this incredible thing that we’ve done over the years."

Marchell Adams-David, the manager of Raleigh, added:

"We’re going to continue on the same path that’s been successful for us. Our consumers have told us what they like, and we’re going to try to provide that to them for the next four years. We’re using the Dreamville label to a certain extent."

Adams-David also talked about the involvement of J. Cole in the festival:

"He will obviously be involved, whether or not he headlines. That’s probably not going to be an occurrence, but he is a local resident. He is totally committed to this community, and he is totally committed to this festival."

J. Cole made his announcement on the ending of the Dreamville Festival back in December 2024

J. Cole made the announcement that the 2025 edition of the festival will be its final edition on December 11, 2024:

"April 5 & 6, 2025 will be the Fifth & Final Dreamville Fest. What a ride it’s been… We can’t thank y’all enough for all the memories we’ve shared. From the very beginning, the idea behind the fest was creating a place where our fans, the Dreamville community, could spend time together, a place where they could see themselves reflected, a place to share in experiences. Let’s run it back one more time in April!"

Dreamville Festival 2025 featured the following lineup:

The festival was held in 2018 and then again from 2022. The festival has featured performances by the likes of Drake, Burna Boy, Kehlani, 50 Cent, and more.

Dreamville Festival was part of J. Cole's larger Dreamville ventures, which have produced documentaries based on J. Cole's life, including J. Cole: Road to Homecoming, Forest Hills Drive: Homecoming, and J. Cole: 4 Your Eyez Only, as well as Too High to Riot, Eyez, and Applying Pressure: The Off-Season Documentary, among others.

Dreamville Studio is also responsible for two podcasts, The Messenger by Bas and Inevitable by J. Cole, Ibrahim Hamad, and Scott Lazer, respectively. Dreamville Ventures has partnered up with Apple and the Marcus Graham Project for the latter's iCR8 Bootcamp in 2021.

Dreamville Festival has patronage by over 40,000 people in each edition, particularly in the latter editions after the pandemic. The 2025 total footfall is currently unknown as of the writing of this article, but it is certainly in the upper thousands. This made the festival one of the larger festivals in the region.
