Big Thief are officially heading back to the UK and Europe in 2026 with their newly announced Somersault Slide 360 tour. The Brooklyn-based indie-folk group is currently performing as a trio of Adrianne Lenker, Buck Meek, and James Krivchenia. They will take their latest record, Double Infinity, on the road next spring.
This new leg of their tour follows a stretch of shows in North America through late 2025. It will also be Big Thief's most expansive run of European headline dates to date.
The shows will kick off in Oslo on April 8, 2026. The run will wrap up in Hamburg on June 16, 2026. Stops include three consecutive nights at London's O2 Academy Brixton, Dublin's 3Arena, Manchester’s Aviva Studios, and Glasgow's Barrowland Ballroom. Support will come from Dylan Meek, Laraaji, and Ata Kak during the run.
Big Thief took to their official Instagram page to announce the upcoming 2026 EU/UK leg, captioning:
"We are headed overseas!! So honored to share the bill with Buck's sweet little brother Dylan Meek, Laraaji, and Ata Kak on these tours. See ya out there and get ready to dance love cry and laugh. Presale starts at 10 am BST on Monday 8 September. Sign up to receive the code at the link in bio."
Big Thief's sixth studio album, Double Infinity, will be released on September 5, 2025. The record follows Dragon New Warm Mountain I Believe In You (2022). It will be their first album since parting ways with longtime bassist Max Oleartchik.
Big Thief penned an Instagram post to announce their latest album, which read:
"Our new album is called Double Infinity. The first song, 'Incomprehensible', is out today!!! We (James, Buck, & Adrianne) spent the last couple of years gathering songs, then asked our friends to join us in bringing the songs to life, and then whittled it down to the nine in this batch."
It continued:
"We rode our bikes through the wintery streets of Manhattan to the Power Station, bright-eyed and curious as ever to play! We played our hearts out with our friends in that room, and thankfully it was recorded. What a gift! We are so proud and excited to be part of this and to share with you all!"
