Singer-actress Teyana Taylor made a fashion statement in a black outfit featuring a cropped top, low-rise sheer bottoms, and a Miu Miu cowboy hat. Chris Brown was seen in a baggy shirt and shorts at the festival. The duo were seeing chatting, and sharing hugs, sparking excitement online.

Teyana Taylor and Chris Brown’s collaborative history explored as the duo reunite at Coachella 2025

Teyana Taylor and Chris Brown have a history together, having collaborated on several musical projects. The duo worked together on the track "Do Not Disturb", which appeared on Taylor’s debut album, VII, released on November 14, 2014.

Before that, they had dropped "Push Me Up" in January 2012. The track marked their third collaboration, following earlier songs like "I’m Illy" in July 2009 and "Favor (Remix)" in April 2011.

In 2019, the duo appeared as featured artists on Fabolous’ track "Us vs The World" from his Summertime Shootout 3.

Following a rumored altercation between Teyana Taylor and Chris Brown at the latter's 37th Birthday party on May 5, 2023, Taylor later cleared the air. In an interview clip posted on August 29, 2024, she reiterated that they were like brother and sister:

“Everybody have [sic] a lot of brothers and sisters in the industry. But it was like literally...me and Chris's is d*mn near like blood brother-sister. We just have that relationship where it's like he give [sic] me my space, I give him his space.”
