Wow, what an ending! The last day, Sunday, of the first weekend of Coachella 2025 was a total blast. It was full of exciting performances from all sorts of musicians, mixing different styles of music and bringing together both well-known artists and newer ones. With plenty of energy and surprise collaborations, the day revealed how eclectic and innovative the music at the festival is.

Post Malone's headlining performance, Megan Thee Stallion's star turn show, Junior H's debut with regional Mexican music, Jennie's solo stage debut, and Zedd's collaborative set — these were among the few highlights.

Breaking down the key moments that highlighted Coachella's closing day first weekend

1. Post Malone's genre-bending headliner set

Post Malone wrapped up Day 3 with a performance of his eclectic music repertoire. He performed 19 songs including "Sunflower," "I Had Some Help," "White Iverson," and more. From hit songs to deeper cuts, he had the entire audience in his pocket with his blend of hip-hop, rock, pop, and acoustic.

His performance was the ideal way to wrap up the weekend, with the audience taking away with them memories of his musical diversity that they would never forget.

2. Megan Thee Stallion's inspiring performance with surprising guest appearances

Megan Thee Stallion closed out the festival with an electrifying set featuring surprise collaborators Queen Latifah, Ciara, and Victoria Monét. The cameos brought the classic Queen Latifah on "Plan B" and "Unity" with Megan, Ciara on "Goodies," and Victoria Monét on "Spin" and "On My Mama."

There was a technical issue with her mic out during the middle of "Mamushi," but Megan was still on stage singing unheard as fans yelled her name before she said goodbye to her dancers when the sound did not stand up.

3. Junior H's ode to regional mexican music

Junior H topped regional Mexican music on a lineup with an abundance of collaborator tracks by Peso Pluma and Tito Double P. Junior started his set with "Mientras Duermes" and "Rockstar" before playing "La Cherry" and "Las Noches." Sad Boys 4 Life II tracks such as "Y Lloro" and "Las Noches," were included in his lineup as well.

He was the sole Latin artist on headliner stage and illustrated the genre's popularity and influence on a multi-cultural base, hinting at Coachella's all-embracing music ethos.

4. Jennie's solo performance debut

BLACKPINK's Jennie took the Coachella stage solo, and everyone enjoyed it! She wowed the crowd with her solo performance. She even had the singer Kali Uchis join her to sing a song, which made it a unique collaboration. Jennie performed a 13-track set including, "Handlebars", "Seoul City" and "Starlight".

Seeing Jennie perform alone, after usually being part of a group, showed how much presence she has on stage and how she can do different kinds of performances.

5. Zedd's collaborative electronic showcase

Zedd's show at the Outdoor Theatre stage was a series of collaborations with guest artists that blended into his electronic show. The guest artists involved were Bea Miller, Elley Duhé, Maren Morris, The Ollam, John Mayer, and Julia Michaels, whose songs were blended into the show individually.

Collaborations with various artists showed the diversity of electronic music and how Zedd can blend various genres.

Day 3 of Coachella 2025 encapsulated the spirit of the festival: musical diversity, surprise collaborations, and hijacking sets of the fields. Already done the first weekend, the crowd had in mind a day that celebrated musical creativity as much as cultural diversity.
