A potential collaboration between two Cincinnati giants, Graeter's and Skyline Chilli has gone viral. A quick search on Kroger's website shows a Graeter's Skyline Chili Ice Cream pint being sold for $6.99. The website describes the ice cream as a "daring fusion of flavors" and mentions the ingredients.

The potential ice cream is infused with "warm chilly spices, crunchy oyster crackers, and shreds of cheese that provide a tangy contrast to the sweet treat." Would this fusion of two different flavors be a hit or miss?

Everything you need to know about Graeter's Skyline Chili Ice Cream

Graeter's potential collaboration with Skyline has caused a lot of buzz on social media, with many users asking the brands to stick to what they do best. A tweet by the Enquirer has gained 4.4 million views within 24 hours. Users took to the post and expressed their concerns about the flavors and the collaboration. One user (@Food and Travel Nation) wrote,

"TBH, I wouldn't eat it, but the ingredient list is not as bad as I expected. I've seen much worse..."

Another user (@TylerCraw00) seemed more skeptical and wrote,

"Just because you can, doesn’t mean you should."

Some users were more optimistic about the flavors due to Graeter's positive reputation for ice creams. A user (@bwware) commented on Reddit,

"I can eat Skyline every day of the week, I can eat Ice Cream every day of the week. I will try this once."

In a new update posted on Cincinnati.com, the Enquirer spoke with Sarah Walters, senior director of public relations for Rmd advertising. Sarah described the ice cream as "concept art" and reported,

"Graeter’s and Skyline are two Cincinnati brands that love to have fun—so they’re certainly talking about working together on something “chilly”. No news just yet on that flavor or production…"

While the listing is still visible on Kroger, Sarah has reported that the collaboration is not confirmed. This is not the first time Graeter has launched new flavors, but this collaboration in particular has raised some questions.

In the past, Graeter has collaborated with other local brands like Braxton Brewing Co. and launched Black Raspberry Chocolate Chip Milk Stout and Key Lime Pie Ale.

It is unclear if Graeter's Skyline Chili Ice Cream will be available for sale to the public, but it has received a bunch of mixed reviews on social media. While the brand has experimented with bold flavors previously, there is doubt about the Skyline Chili Ice Cream hitting the shelves.
