The miserably funny Skibidi Toilet meme has become one of the most peculiar viral trends on the internet, especially among the younger generations.
The meme received mainstream attention when Kim Kardashian was gifted a diamond necklace with “Skibidi Toilet” engraved on it by her daughter, North West, on her 44th birthday. This gift consists of a rectangular pendant etched with “Skibidi Toilet” on one side and “Love, North” on the other side.

In a lighthearted video shared on social media, Kim expressed her surprise at the unusual gift while North explained its significance: “Because You Love Skibidi Toilet.”
Origins of the Skibidi Toilet Meme
This peculiar internet sensation, the Skibidi Toilet meme, did not come out of the blue. It all began with a YouTuber named Alexey Gerasimov, creator of the animated series who goes by the name DaFuq!?Boom! on the streaming platform.
The first episode was posted in February 2023 and it wasn’t long before the show stirred up quite the frenzy on the internet. The series has since produced over 76 episodes, with some episodes receiving over 63 million views.
That just means millions of people are watching an army of human-faced toilets fighting against a team called the Cameramen who have CCTV Cameras for their heads.
There is something strangely alluring about the premise which exists on the level of pure silliness. However, the major attraction of the show is that the Skibidi Toilets perform a medley that adds together numerous songs such as Timbaland’s Give It to Me and a very popular Bulgarian piece called Dom Dom Yes Yes by Biser King.
Such visuals supplemented by music and laughter have captured Generation Alpha in an entirely unexpected way. Internet is asserting that its viral popularity is reminiscent of Generation Z’s Slender Man phenomenon.
Kim Kardashian Necklace Details
The highlight of the event – a necklace – features a rectangular pendant on one side that reads “Skibidi Toilet” while the other side reads “Love, North.”
Olivia Landau, the chief executive of jewelry brand The Clear Cut, informed PEOPLE that the necklace, which has from 0.08 to 0.1 carats of diamonds, could cost between $15,000 and $20,000.
Furthermore, Landau noted that the piece has two of the biggest trending accessories of the time – customized nameplates and tennis necklaces. She said,
“People love being able to create added sentiment with their jewellery pieces, especially when gifting,”
The businesswoman shared a video of the diamond necklace her 11-year-old daughter bought her on her Instagram stories on October 21 which was her birthday.
Besides the necklace, North also planned a home birthday party with over-the-top decorations. Kim shared videos of pink and white balloons with photos of her family members decorating the balloons – all arranged by North.
The night before, Kim Kardashian celebrated an exquisite early birthday event in the Diesel slip sheer dress, worth $2,081, which she referred to as a “birthday suit.”
