Olivia Rodrigo recently faced an extremely awkward situation as she tried to interact with the audience during the latest show of her ongoing Guts Tour. During her performance, she singled out two people, and after interacting with them for a bit, she said:
"You guys are so cute.. Hey, I have a really cute fun thing to ask. Would you guys give us a kiss on the Shots Cam?"

While the crowd went wild, the boy immediately shook his head no, saying that the girl he had come with was his sister.
The 'good 4 u' singer was quick to rectify her error:
"She’s your sister? Oh s---! Oh s---! Nevermind, nevermind, scrap that. Oh god, that hasn’t happened before."
While the awkward moment elicited a huge roar of laughter from the crowd, the man posted about the situation on Tiktok, where the video went viral.
The post was captioned:
"Olivia Rodrigo asking my sister and I to kiss was not on my 2024 bingo card."
The pop star commented on the post, saying I AM SORRY in all caps.
However, fans would not let the issue die out:

The pop star is no stranger to such awkward encounters and has seen many such incidents in her recent tours.
Quite recently, Olivia Rodrigo was all over Twitter after she fell through a trapdoor on stage during her performance in Melbourne.
The singer was running to the front of the stage when she fell through a random hole. However, she stood back up like a champ immediately, reassuring her fans.
"Oh my God, that was fun … I’m OK!"
In another such incident, the pop star faced a fashion faux pas on stage as her black crop top popped open from the back while she was performing. While Rodrigo continued performing, a dancer on stage helped her fasten the top back on as she held on to it from the front.
Incidentally, the song she was singing during this incident was "Love is Embarrassing," and she let out a chuckle mid-song, commenting,
"This is f---ing embarrassing!"
Olivia Rodrigo is currently on her Guts World Tour and is scheduled to perform in Sydney next. The tour concludes on July 1, 2025.
