Lewis Hamilton recently left X in splits with his answer to George Russell's question about his ageless appearance. The 39-year-old F1 driver was in conversation with his teammate during the 2024 F1 United States Grand Prix weekend when the hilarious incident took place.

George Russell asked Hamilton about his excellent skin condition, stating how he had more wrinkles than Hamilton despite their incredible age gap. Before Russell could even finish his sentence, Hamilton came up with a quick response -

"Black don't crack."

This elicited quite a response on X, with people commenting on Hamilton's incredible sense of humor.

Others reaffirmed his statement, while also referring to Russell's joke where he referred to Hamilton as "Mr. Grandad."

Lewis Hamilton is one of the oldest F1 drivers still in the game, but he is still a worthy competitor to young drivers like George Russell, who is currently 26 years old.

Lewis Hamilton's F1 US Grand Prix weekend came to an end rather unfortunately

Lewis Hamilton's United States Grand Prix weekend came to an unfortunate end when he spun into a gravel trap during the second lap of his race.

Speaking about the incident, Hamilton mentioned to the official F1 channel,

"I had a great start, obviously shot up the inside and got up to 12th... And at that point, it was only the second lap, so I’m not flat out and not pushing particularly, just trying to manage the tyres and the car started bouncing on the way in and then it just lost all out of the rear and it just went around on me."

However, Hamilton maintains that this was not a result of a lack of focus - instead, he simply labeled the situation as an "unfortunate incident."

"I’ve never spun in the race before, not that I remember at least, and if I have it can only be once, maybe, before in all these years. So definitely frustrating but I do know that it’s not that I wasn’t focussed or anything, it was just unfortunate."

The F1 United States Grand Prix concluded on October 21, 2024, with Ferrari's Charles LeClerc bagging his ninth Grand Prix, setting a personal record.
