Nostalgia is a strong emotion. If you can present people with an item from their past, they will cherish you forever. Zayn Malik, the former One Direction singer, has understood this quite well. He is known for posting beautiful pictures on his Instagram, but every once in a while, God smiles upon his fans, and they get to hear his melodious voice, too.
His beautiful face and angelic voice are enough to melt iron rods and end wars (just not the one he has with his exes). Every time Zayn Malik uploads an Instagram story of him singing, an ozone layer heals somewhere in the world.
Zayn Malik is already like an Anglerfish who appears on social media occasionally, so it's a double treat whenever he decides to serenade his fans with lovely renditions of songs.
But it seems like Zayn Malik woke up on the wrong side of the bed today. Unfortunately, today is the day he chose to sing his former band's hit single, "What Makes You Beautiful." It was an acapella version with no music—just him, contributing to creating a rainbow somewhere in the world.
This wasn't the first time Malik had covered one of his former band's songs. Last year, he covered 'Night Changes' and melted half of the world's glaciers. This time, he sang yet another song, but with a twist. He changed the melody so drastically that it became impossible to recognize the song until the last minute.

As soon as his fans saw the red circle around his Instagram Profile picture they knew they were in for a treat. It was Zayn Malik singing a song and hitting every note like a champ. It was hard to make out which song it was and only when it was about to end did the song reveal itself.
As soon as everyone realized it was 'What Makes You Beautiful' everyone lost their marbles and had so many funny reactions.
