The Arlington Police Department recently arrested Adam ‘Pacman’ Jones on November 16, following the most awaited fight between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson.

Adam ‘Pacman’ Jones, a former Falls Cowboys cornerback, was arrested from a hotel near the AT&T Stadium, where the fight between Paul and Tyson took place.

According to reports, Pacman Jones was involved in an altercation at the bar of the hotel. An off-duty officer noticed the incident and came up to calm Jones down, but it wasn’t of any use. Jones lashed out at the other party involved in the altercation. Later, another fight erupted, leading the officer and hotel security to intervene.

During their efforts to separate the individuals, Jones punched the officer’s hand. As per the Arlington Police Department's (APD) booking records, she then arrested him and charged him with public intoxication, assault of a peace officer, and resisting and evading arrest.

According to the reports, Adam 'Pacman' Jones, the 41-year-old ex-NFLer, was taken to the Arlington City Jail at around 3:00 AM. Jones’ representatives have completely denied these allegations against him.

Talking to a TMZ reporter, Jones’ representatives stated that they "adamantly deny the allegations and look forward to explaining the truth when the time comes."

He further added,

"Like thousands of other people in Dallas last night, Pac was in town for the fight and was enjoying himself, spending times with fans... Pacman was returning to his hotel to wind down for the evening. He was not looking for trouble."

Jones' arrest concluded a night highlighted by social media star Jake Paul’s victory over veteran Mike Tyson by unanimous decision. The judges scored the fight 79-73, 79-73, and 80-72, all in favor of Paul.

According to the APD, "While the officer and hotel security were working to separate the individuals involved, Mr. Jones hit the officer on her arm. At that point, [the officer] informed Mr. Jones [that] she was placing him under arrest for assault on a peace officer."

The officer tried to place Pacman Jones in handcuffs but failed to do so, as he broke free and started walking away. She then requested additional support. Later, officers arrived on the scene and "assisted with taking him into custody," the APD said.

Jones was taken into custody at the Arlington City Jail around 3:30 a.m. on November 16, with bail set at $319, according to the Arlington Police Department.

This is not the first time former cornerback, Pacman Jones has faced legal trouble. Last year, he was arrested at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport for causing disturbance as an "unruly passenger" on a flight. He was charged with misdemeanor counts of alcohol intoxication, disorderly conduct, and terroristic threatening.

In 2017, Jones was arrested on charges of assault, disorderly conduct, obstructing official business, and harassment with a bodily substance after allegedly causing a disturbance at the Millennium Hotel in Cincinnati, according to police.

Pacman Jones’ has played for teams including the Titans, Cowboys, Bengals, and Broncos during his NFL career. He reached his peak in Cincinnati, earning Pro Bowl honors in 2015 and first-team All-Pro status in 2014. However, his latest arrest, coinciding with a high-profile boxing event, adds another chapter to his troubled legal history.
