Welcome to the General Hospital Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What Happened on General Hospital

Soap operas are about love, family, relationships, and generations. There was nothing more delightful than seeing GH's Gen X crowd in solidarity with the greatest Boomer of them all, Tracy Angelica Q. That woman is the star of Port Charles and the star of GH. Any moment she is around is a moment we can't turn away. When she took her purse chains and tethered herself to Emma, who was already chained to the crypt, we were never more delighted. Tracy was willing to be put in cuffs to make sure that her parents, brother, and other various family members could enjoy their eternal rest — smarmy politicians be damned. The Gen X came out strong when Trina broke out her phone to record Councilman Ezra Boyle, who could give Drew a run for his money in the gross dude category. When Boyle declared he was doing this so the little people saw that the rich didn't always get their way, Trina's comeback was right on the money. That's right. Only politicians get whatever they want and can do whatever they want. Today's Gen X crowd records everything to live stream on social media, so Trina and Emma have been happy to do the same. Sometimes soaps just give us everything we need to stay satisfied. The Friday showdown at the Quartermaine crypt was just one special story that gave us our fix in a very real way. Three cheers for Tracy Q and Emma doing what they had to do to get the job done.
