Sam (Kelly Monaco) has all her affairs in order before risking her own life to save Lulu's. Her kids are safely at the Quartermaines and their dads, Jason (Steve Burton) and Drew (Cameron Mathison), have agreed to look after them.
However, Sam is thrown a curveball when she learns that Lulu now has a condition that lowers the chance of a successful transplant. She also learns that a doctor she knows nothing about will be performing the surgery. Will Sam still agree to go through with things? She is taking a risk that might not be worth it since Lulu's odds of survival are so low.

Nina gets a shock
When Nina (Cynthia Watros) and Ava (Maura West) get together, Nina is stunned by Ava's confession. Ava has taken a liking to Ric (Rick Hearst) and even has a crush on him. Nina is not quite sure what to say. Will she give her BFF a warning?
After all, Nina was briefly married to Ric nearly a decade ago and learned he only married her for her money. Not only that, but Ric and Nina's mother tried to gaslight Nina into believing she was crazy. Ric was also having an affair with Nina's mother, so Ava needs to be careful.
Meanwhile, Ric has some news for Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst). Does it have anything to do with Heather Webber's (Alley Mills) legal status? The court is due to make a decision any minute.
Anna confronts Holly
Holly (Emma Samms) finds herself in the hot seat once again. First, Robert (Tristan Rogers) had a ton of questions about Sasha (Sofia Mattsson). Now, Anna (Finola Hughes) has some questions. She is not happy with Holly at all. Does she know about the diamond that Holly took from Sidwell's (Carlo Rota) compound?
Holly could have put everyone in danger with her little con. Imagine Anna's surprise when she learns of Holly's other secret—that Sasha is Robert and Holly's daughter.
A night at The Savoy
It's almost time for Marshall (Robert Gossett) to go on tour with Wynton Marsalis, so Curtis (Donnell Turner) plans a farewell party at the Savoy. Marshall is beloved at the nightclub, but the party is also set to bring drama.
Dex (Evan Hofer) and Joss (Eden McCoy) enjoy a date there as they try to get away from it all, but Portia (Brook Kerr) might get some news that ruins the entire night.
