General Hospital Spoilers, December 23: Will Portia confess her baby daddy problems in court?

What to expect on General Hospital

Christmas may be coming, but that doesn't mean justice sleeps. Instead, Willow's (Katelyn MacMullen) trial continues now that Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) has found her next witness. Of course, Amy Driscoll (Risa Dorken) knew exactly what Portia (Brook Kerr) had been up to with Isaiah.

Portia is in a bit of a panic as she has never testified at an attempted murder trial before. She calls Ava (Maura West) for support. Ava advises her friend to say as little as possible, but Ava also knows how relentless Alexis can be.

And now, Portia surprises Curtis (Donnell Turner) and Trina (Tabyana Ali) when she walks into the courtroom, and Alexis calls her to the stand. Alexis pushes and prods as expected, driving Portia to tears.

Portia tells Alexis that she is not going to get the answer she is looking for, but she might give Curtis and Trina the shock of their lives. Portia might be forced to say she was with Isaiah the night Drew (Cameron Mathison) was shot.

About that evidence

Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) is still determined to learn just what happened to that traffic cam footage of Willow outside Drew's house that fateful night. When Chase (Josh Swickard) gets bad news, does he learn that Dante suspects him? Dante knows just how determined Chase was to prove Willow's innocence.

Little do they know that Nina (Cynthia Watros) got the job done via Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna). Or did she? Could Chase have gotten to the evidence before Jack did? That would certainly be a twist.

Metro Court happenings

The Metro Court is the restaurant of the week, as Michael (Rory Gibson) and Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) discuss Willow's case. Brook Lynn tells her cousin that she has tried to be supportive of Chase's quest to free Willow, but she worries that it might have been a mistake. Chase has gotten in a little too deep. Isn't it concerning for Brook Lynn that her husband is still so interested in his ex-wife?

Finally, Laura (Genie Francis) and Tracy (Jane Elliot) run into one another while having lunch and discuss the latest happenings around Port Charles. It also looks like Laura surprises Tracy.
